The No. 16 USC women's tennis team have matched their most powerful start to a season since 2007 with a 5-0 overall record that includes four 7-0 sweeps and one 6-1 victory, thanks to today's shutout of visiting No. 27 Pepperdine at Marks Stadium. After another dominating doubles performance, USC rattled off five straight-set singles wins that were capped off by a three-set comeback victory by Alison Ramos to round out the clean sweep.
